These terms are the agreement between you and StyleSnap. By using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use StyleSnap.
StyleSnap ("we", "us") is an AI hair-preview service at stylesnap.app, operated by Aereo Labs Ltd, registered in England and Wales, contact hello@aereolabs.co.uk.
You must be 18 or older. By using the app you confirm that you are. We do not ask you for identity documents; this is a declaration you make, and using StyleSnap while under 18 is a breach of these terms.
You may upload a photo of yourself, or a photo of another adult who has given you explicit permission. You must not upload:
You keep whatever rights you already hold in the photo you upload. You give us permission to process it for the single purpose of generating your preview, and for nothing else.
If you upload a photo of anyone other than yourself, you are telling us that you have that person's explicit permission to use their photo in StyleSnap for a hair preview. We rely on that statement. We have no way of checking it, and we do not try to: the responsibility for it is yours.
If that statement is untrue, you are responsible for the consequences. You agree to compensate Aereo Labs Ltd for any claim, complaint, loss or cost that arises because you uploaded a photo of a person without their permission, including any claim brought by that person and any regulatory penalty, and you agree to cooperate with us in responding to it. This does not limit any rights the person in the photo has against you directly.
StyleSnap does not keep your photo. It is held in memory only while your preview is generated, and is never written to our database or file storage.
Our AI provider, Google, does keep a copy for up to 55 days, solely to detect misuse of its service, after which it is deleted. It is not used to train AI models. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Previews are generated by artificial intelligence. They are simulations, not predictions of a salon result. Your hair's texture, porosity and colour history determine what a stylist can actually achieve, and only a qualified stylist can judge that in person.
Do not make a decision about your hair, or pay for a salon service, on the strength of a preview alone. We are not liable for the outcome of any treatment you choose to have, or for any cost, disappointment or damage resulting from it.
Using StyleSnap gives you no rights, ownership, authorship or claim over StyleSnap, its technology, its branding or its outputs — including if the service becomes commercially successful. Generated previews remain the property of StyleSnap. You may share your own preview for personal use. You may not claim authorship of it, assert intellectual property rights over it, or use it commercially without our written permission.
Every preview carries a StyleSnap watermark. You must not remove, cover, crop out or blur it, and you must not share a preview with the watermark removed. Doing so is treated exactly like uploading a photo of someone without their permission: you are responsible for any claim, loss or cost that follows, and your access may be blocked.
Previews beyond your free sample are sold in packs. Where you buy through Google Play, the purchase is processed by Google and Google's refund policy applies; you can request a refund through your Google Play account. Prices include VAT.
Unused previews do not expire. If a generation fails, no preview is deducted. If you are charged and receive nothing, contact us and we will put it right.
Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, automate access to the service, resell access, or use StyleSnap to create misleading images of real people. We may suspend access where these terms are breached.
StyleSnap previews hair, and nothing else. Requests to remove or alter clothing, to produce sexual or indecent images, to make anyone appear to be a child, or to place one person's face on another are refused before they reach our AI provider. Repeated attempts result in the device being blocked. When a request is refused we keep a note of the date, the text that was submitted and a one-way fingerprint of the IP address in our server logs — never the photo. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.
Creating a sexual or intimate image of a real person without their consent is a criminal offence in England and Wales (Sexual Offences Act 2003, section 66E, in force since 6 February 2026), and so is creating any indecent image of a child. StyleSnap refuses those requests before they reach our AI provider, and we keep a note of each refused attempt. We may hand those notes, together with any report we receive, to the police or another competent authority, and we will do so without notifying you where the law allows it.
Every generated result carries a Report this result link. Reports are read by a person. A report that involves a child is treated as urgent and, where appropriate, referred to the relevant UK authorities.
StyleSnap is provided "as is" and is currently in free beta. We do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption, and we may change or withdraw features. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use StyleSnap after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
